Eagle Scout Court of Honor Video!
hello wonderful world of youtube it's alex and today it's finally happening the eagle scout court of honor video now i know you guys have been waiting so patiently for it and i thank you for it it's just i got uh really busy to put it the simplest ways um basically that's a long time ago so eagle scout court of honor it was saturday june 5th 2021 it was i woke up i was excited it was filled with excitement just ready to go because it was my big special day i got to do my court of honor so
you know i my my uh dad and uncle my mom they all go up and start setting up early i was told to stay home and not get too sweaty because it was really hot that day now and then jc came over i think i've talked about jc before but i digress and we hung out you know my little cousin jonathan and paige came up to come see it my other cousins they couldn't columbus they couldn't come see because unfortunately they were with their um mom and dad yeah it's a complicated story i'll
explain it one day then you know i'm chilling then we do uh i go up there around one o'clock or 12 50 something like that go up there and then you know it starts and it was awesome basically um it's very hard to describe it but it was very awesome because like it was about me and i actually have some photos so i'm going to show you guys some of these photos first and then we're going to get back into a little bit of the story so let's go transition into the photo all right so here's a
photo of me before everything really started it was just me goofing off with my friends but yeah and then the next photo over here is with me and mr fansky miss wagner wagner's on the left the fancies on the right it was all really cool and here's a photo of me and my friends we got aidan aj jamie lily and ashley from left to right and then over here we have another photo of me miss wagner and also my scout master jerry brown then over here we got a photo of just me my mom's stepdad and brother it's pretty
cool if you ask me but then we also have my entire trip that came that day it was awesome we got noah and other kids in there but here's some photos of just the actual ceremony itself we got noah and then my scot master and then there's another photo here of me and aidan goofing off in front of the cool thing and an actual nice one you can see i got a really cool pin on my uniform and then over here is a photo of me in the cake it was a really tasty cake actually a cool logo on it oh and then here's the
mayor he gave me a really cool proclamation that day and here's the mayor talking about the proclamation giving it to me and over here is a very nice photo of me and the mayor with my epic proclamation anyways let's uh go back all right so now we're back from looking at the photos and well after the ceremony was over i had to do a little speech which i actually posted the acceptance speech on the day of uh actually i think after the at the end i'll clip it in there if uh not really if you guys want it's more
i'm gonna put it in there so uh yeah how do we go look at the accepted speech again because it's pretty cool [Music] and i mean it's really great today it could have been raining it's not it could be way hotter it's not it also uh could be way windier maybe sold too many but i'm not sure that i mean overall today's a great day and that's exactly how the day kind of was when i did my board review and that was awesome it was a great day uh it's a little stressful because they
lost my application somehow and refill it out but it all worked out yet and especially you know actually now instead of well later his breakfast oh it does a lot sooner so i could have had it inside it got cold into it inside and that uh well then without everything going on you'd have to cut it down a lot or wait till it got nice again hello bro gotta thank you all for coming here it's a swell day today [Laughter] they're all thinking wow he's going on for a while i mean you didn't have to you could have
gone home all right so after that we uh after my little speech the ceremony concluded and then we had pizza and cake it was really good got to hang out i gotta talk to a lot of people and my got to see some people i haven't seen in a while like my teacher miss wagner she's my eighth grade english teacher i haven't seen her in like almost two years so i got to see her again i actually really appreciated that now uh overall i mean the ceremony was really really awesome and i really enjoyed it a lot
now the only thing i wish i could change about it was i wish it was a little cooler that day but oh and i also wish i could have had more people but whatever that is something i can't control it was more of the city said i couldn't do more people so yeah that was uh that was my court of honor so uh if you guys uh enjoyed this video please do like comment subscribe you made it this far comment down in the comments eagle scout anyways thank god for watching peace out

I went to the ER Saturday
oh wonderful youtube it's alex and uh a few days ago it was a saturday i hurt my finger pretty badly i go to er squishy into that story anyways so um it was saturday it was around 9 40 it was about 9 40 p.m closing up work helping out a guy named uh i called him nate for this and a girl named uh uh april it's helping them uh clean up and that's if i should mention that names are changed um i'm helping you know uh april put some stuff away because i was down about my duties um and we a date we saw david he was
help putting some corn out before we before we closed and i was helping we decided to go help him for a few minutes because why not get it done when okay in these corn they come in these crates i don't have any photos of them and i would show you guys they're annoying they're a wire wooden depth trap anyways so i'm unhooking the hook to keep it closed to open it um and uh it went into my finger yeah that wasn't good um so then i had to uh i was like wow this really hurts and i knew it was in my finger right
away pretty much because like i tried to move it it wasn't moving so then i was like ow uh nate go get the the manager and uh we gotta get some wire cutters so you know we start trying to do first aid and i'm like yeah this isn't gonna be good they get it we separated from the crate the metal stole my finger um i'm in the back room pass out like 9 45. not fun wake up at 9 50. mandy's with me like hey uh you passed out and i go yeah she called 9-1-1 he goes yeah we did and i go okay cool
um so then they the ambulance comes and they take me to er my mom was there they're doing paperwork stuff i don't know i end up in er and i basically wait for two hours after they take an x-ray to numb me up and take it out i got home at a right at like one in the morning to which i went to work the next day i went to work at seven a.m and i'm like hey i'm here and my manager this is the different manager and he's like uh you were told last night i didn't have to show up and i go
but holiday pay so i showed up and worked it was fun it's still kind of swollen i don't know if you can really tell it's definitely swollen but whatever i digress i'm fine i got a technic shot and some painkillers on that thing but overall i'm good wait did you uh if you guys enjoy my little rambling about my injury do like comment subscribe and i'll see y'all later

Summer Camp 2k21
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and today um i'm actually i'm at where the next coasters are yeah i have two of them i never told you guys about the second one anyways no today i'm talking about my scout camp experience so we're gonna start off it was not last sunday but the sunday before it was the 11th we woke up early packed up started driving down to virginia blue ridge mountains we're going to this camp called camp atari i believe yeah camp tarry and uh we're doing this thing called mountain
man well at least me and a couple other people were the rest of my troops they were doing this other thing called deeper adventure but that's not important what's important is we went down there when we stopped at around noon for lunch like the first part of the drive i think the only thing we did was really was watch uh in my dad's van there's a tv we watched uh the star wars revenge the sith and then the first terminator movie sabater's biscuit world it's a restaurant in charleston it's really
good they have really good grilled cheese sandwich we got lunch then after that we got back on the road and drove down and got to camp that was about three o'clock and then we go to our little campsite set up our skier in the tent because the contents came with the mountain man because it's the idea of mountain man is it's a camp where you spend a week in the 1800s pretty much it's really fun and then we basically spent the afternoon chilling out got our dinner which was really good by the way it was
like a chicken casserole it was amazing and then after that we uh what's it called we just kind of hung out at camp went to bed the next day got up and did uh black powder rifle shooting basically every day when like kinda like this uh wake up eat breakfast black powder rifle shooting uh knife making forage and then free time for the afternoon and uh so how it went was i wake up you know i got for breakfast monday this is monday to 12th i believe and i uh sorry for keeping the camera stable
uh you made breakfast was really good uh cook over to campfire uh then we clean up went through black powder rifle shooting it was really fun because it's a muzzle loaded black powder rifle uh and basically the challenge was to hit a golf ball fatigue and which everyone proceeded to do it flawlessly and the guy's like wow you guys are really good and after that we went uh to this knife making shop where he made a knife i don't have it on me uh but yeah it was really fun then after that we
went i had lunch it was really good it was just it was mostly cold cuts throughout the entire week basically like easy stuff to make and then blacksmithing where i started on my knife a second knife out of a rail spike now give me a second i just realized i didn't bring it down with me i cut and go grab it all right i'm back everyone oh i just came in hey shadow say hi to the camera shut up shut up shut up say hi that shadow guys anyway sorry for the little interruption um so yeah we did
blacksmithing i started on my project of a knife now here's actually what it looks like in the end it's really nice it's not that sharp it doesn't cut anything other than like grass i don't even know if the grass is cutting or just breaking from the tension anyways started doing that one day it was really hard and after that you know i just chilled out free free time was also sent to forge fyi like every day i did it was fun then after that we went back to camp made dinner and all is good the evening
just chilled out and had fun now i should also mention this entire camp batman there was literally only ten of us um in the entire camp other than it's like excellent except there was just ten campers it was awesome and uh it was really fun uh then so we so tuesday uh same cycle but i'll stick to the story this knife really uh i lose the knife this one here in the forge not good very bad so then i uh started another one and that one same day was melted i melted an accent when i was forging the blade
not good i'm not really melted melted it just started to melt and it was toast so after that it was uh wednesday you know keep doing the same thing now wednesday there's some i actually know the meal i had there but i'll get a second wednesday we were cleaning the forge and i found my knife or the incomplete model untouched but i had already started making some coat hooks i made three i will probably show you guys later in the future video probably about a week from now because there's something i'm
going to be doing um and then wednesday uh dinner was really good because uh we made this really good mac and cheese like dinner it was awesome thursday well actually not i guess for a second i should uh the rifle shooting a knife making it was pretty easy i mean it was basically the same stuff like this shoot at targets but the blacksmithing for me was the most interesting because i i like blacksmithing i really do so making this knife was really really really neat especially the coat hooks but you guys
will see that why i made this uh in a future video okay thursday uh finish the knife blade and file it down to this it looks good though now the blade is very nice and i like how it feels my hands very nice it was custom made for my hand actually um then friday pack up camp and head over to the base camp where we spent the afternoon at base camp in the afternoon um i bought a bunch of patches i will definitely be showing those in a future video there is something i want to do i just don't know where to buy sheets of
fabric it's a bit of a problem but once i find that i will be uh showing a really neat video about all of my patches from scouting but then saturday drove back home now saturday is where the i got realized i was bitten by tech so as of right now actually i'm taking antibiotics to prevent rocky mountain spotted fever uh it's pretty bad virus i will put a link to it about it in the description below someone i know in my life to contract it i've been not directly because of it but and basically because of it they passed
