Riding the Saint Lucie Sound on the CVSR
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and uh so on sunday halloween morning 9 a.m i boarded the tiger valley scenic railroad national park scenic i would have preferred to film this video on the train like i did last time but unfortunately luck i mean i could have gone to one of the coach cars but it wouldn't just properly capture where i was riding because this time i was on the st lucy sound executive rail car it's one of their nicer rail cars in their fleet in fact it's probably their
nicest or second nicest it was amazing so basically started off you know i got up do the stuff before i train and i get on the train and it was confusion in the seating area because none of the seats are numbered and kind of reasonably so so then uh something i don't have a map of the seats and i go actually as i do it's from the scenic railroad themselves and i pull up the email and they show them and yeah i helped everyone find their seats um which is funny uh and it was it was interesting i felt like an
official trainmen but i helped everyone find their seats uh actually i'll do a quick cut here but i'll show you guys reset we sat and see 15 16 17 18 very comfortable seats with uh occupied by me dad jen grandma and grandpa it's the very end of the car so here's a photo of our seats our seats are in the background area over there by the end of the wall and then over here is a photo of all of us from left to right grandma me dad jen and grandpa and then here's an angle from my seat
facing towards the front of the car that hallway actually leads to this photo here which is the bar which is in the middle of the train which you take a look over and yeah it's a very nice little bar with a really nice looking mural which will be shown over here in the next clip yo look at this mural though on the bar on the car like bro it's pretty cool like this is the bar area now you guys already saw the photos of the uh main seating area this comes around over this way this leads to the end of the
car where we go to board the silver bronco i just wrote that a couple days ago but you come over here and they have one of the suites still intact so this is like a little compartment thing where like you would stay in but yeah that's pretty neat if you ask me uh yeah but overall the train ride was actually really fun uh actually i will know i didn't say this beforehand but our train ride was actually interrupted by a issue at akron station anyway so at akron station um sometime between the 17th when i rode
the silver bronco and the 31st when i rode the st lucy sound um parts of the bridge that go over the train tracks the road bridge had fallen onto the tracks and the scenic railroad was worried about the trains potentially being struck by fallen debris especially those dome cars so they basically told us we couldn't run the train all the way down to akron and because of that we had to stop at bottom station which is about 35 minutes from akron which sounds great on paper but here's the problem
we had to they put it lightly they said we can't we can arrive at a station early but we have to leave on time and since we were skipping akron station we were staying for well over an hour uh at boston station so i walked through the entire trail of my dad we went from the st lucy sound which is the one on the train to the bike aboard car on the other side of the train and so but how it went was from my car to the side it was st lucy silver bronco but rotated around they turned it around for some reason between
when i wrote it and now um table car coach car cafe car ada car which is a wheelchair accessible car then it goes and then it was just four coach cars in a row which all the way to the end of the other train but most of the coach cars passed the um actually all the coach cars passed the cafe car were just completely empty there was like maybe four or five people in them it was really weird but yeah we were there for an hour and honestly the trainer had felt super short because we sat for an hour and i don't blame the
scenic rare at all they didn't want to risk damaging their their rolling stock especially those glass domes because that's a huge liability but at the same time we weren't really allowed to get off the train and i kind of wish we were because i would have i wouldn't mind walking around for like 10-15 minutes outside and kind of seeing the area but i digress i'm not super upset but maybe they can fix that for next time uh if you guys yeah that's gonna wrap up the video so

My second trip to Columbus
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and uh so last thursday i know it's like four days now but um but i went to columbus for skills usa now if you don't know what skills usa is it's basically a a club for the trades and since i'm in the architectural mechanical design that somehow counts for the thing but i went down there um it was for some leadership training thing for the group i really didn't need to go but i actually had a lot of fun so we're gonna start off so thursday i went roll
up to school like any other day um and it was kind of uh just you roll up and you uh show up your stuff and you get ready to go down we get on the bus okay like 8 15 i think we start heading down to columbus we got there pretty quickly actually i think we had a good time although we just stopped for a little a little longer than i would have liked to get breakfast at mcdonald's in mansfield which is about halfway there after we got down we went to our hotel rooms dropped our stuff off and went to
the convention we're basically um we didn't do much we kind of skipped lunch because we were running late uh and on our way from a hotel to the convention center which was actually all indoors uh we went through a food court diet was the food court for the nationwide building which also connects to the build the convention center it's really hard to explain if i could draw it up i would but i'm already pushing this video because i've been putting it off for the last few days
um so then uh we i while we were walking over that i noticed there was a comic book shop and i was like oh i'll check it out later and so i did actually um uh i would and then we went to the convention that's what we did all afternoon was from like one o'clock to 4 30 was classes and i met some cool people there noah yani uh emma those are all my group actually i met some other kids i don't remember their names unfortunately i didn't get them so then afterwards we went back to the
hotel and i stopped at the comic book shop on the on the way back and i bought two comics actually first one is action comics number 431 from january 1974. it's this one here i got it because i if i was looking at their dollar bin and i found it i thought it was really cool and then the second one i got was number 433 from march um here's what it looks like you can see superman's doing something or other and it was actually a really neat i mean like well i wanted to get heavyweight but they didn't have
it it's okay though uh it was really neat i mean they had a nice little shop that like pokemon cards magic cards a bunch of cards funko pops lots of comic books i would say they probably had close to 1 000 comic books probably just in the boxes alone probably more than that they had a lot and then you know anyways let's get back onto the little story here um so then after the comic book store i got some dinner at a little chinese place in the food court it seemed to be run like by a little local family and i only went
there because i kind of felt bad but at the same time i was kind of craving for some uh fried rice i don't know why i've been craving fry to rice a lot recently so i got it it was a really good portion size it was like nine bucks but the portion size was huge i couldn't even finish it but i saved it put in my room's fridge and i had it for breakfast the next morning so after that was the evening class it was one thing wrapping up the day and after that was like a event they were having
but no one in my group which was like 18 kids wanted to go so basically um after that we went back to our rooms and chilled out and a lot of people said i wasn't very social because i went to bed at 11 30. everyone else looked like 3 3 and i was the only one who had an energy the next day so after that um we the next morning we did our breakfast our morning classes um we i left a little early i kind of went back to my room snuck off actually not really sneaky snuck off i kind of got permission and went back to my room
and chilled because i i just couldn't do it and so did uh my friend jani he actually do a telephone appointment for a doctor's thing he had to do it i walked back with him and i kind of stayed there it was interesting i was allowed to but anyways after that we got our stuff packed up had lunch at chick-fil-a which is outside the hotel uh we left the hotel and got chick flight and we started our trip back where it was a pretty much straight shot until about lodi we had to stop refuel where i got myself a doctor pit
and a kinder egg uh and then after that we finished our drive back overall it was a fun little weekend i mean we uh i had a lot of fun made some new friends and overall it was really great the only thing i would have changed is i would have uh brought swim stuff anyways if you guys enjoyed the content do like comment run a road to a hundred subscribers uh if you make it this far um comment superman down below anyway no sorry not superman dude comment action comics down below anyways thanks all for watching and i'll see you guys around

How to lose $120 in 3 seconds
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and uh yesterday something pretty bad happened um nothing in the world i should say jesus a little dark i gotta like adjust my lighting here uh but i should duly note for the world to remember that my paypal was unfortunately hacked now paypal i only have like i've only ever legitimately used it once that was to buy something off of ebay because i wanted to do something a little more secure um because the idea is you know thinking about my paypal and but they can't use
it yeah well you see i forgot to factor in that anything could be hacked providing your password isn't good enough and that's exactly what happened my password apparently wasn't good enough or they just got a really good lucky guess because uh yeah they got into my account and they stole 120 now i should know uh the reason why i had that much money on my debit card which is laid by paypal is because i had just gotten paid um literally yesterday so yay luckily i filed dispute pretty much
right after it happened and paypal got back to me i think about four or five hours later and they said yeah it's pretty fake and they gave me my money back so that's that's good um and overall i'm very happy but like it's pretty bad so i should use this video as a reminder to all you guys make sure your passwords are good add some cool fancy characters to them might help you one day but yeah thank you guys for watching if you liked it say something if you made it this far comment uh paypal down below anyways i'll see you guys later peace out

I GOT THE BOY TOY FRON MCDONALDS
all right hello wonderful world of youtube it's alex and uh so this is being filmed on wednesday night it's gonna go up thursday but so yesterday we had a food day in history class we were ordering mcdonald's it was because we were learning about the 1950s and how mcdonald's started from there now i decided to do something for the funnies and i i got a happy meal and i specifically wrote down i want the boy toy no girl toy i want the boy toy and my happy meal wouldn't you know
they stopped doing that but the toy i got was a boy so we're going to call this the boy toy and he's pretty cool he he does this he's a bun that's all he does put a flashlight under that he kind of glows but that's that's about it but yes i got the boy toy from mcdonald's um very happy michael get a couple more i want more boy toys from mcdonald's it's very important to me i'm not a girl i can't have the girl toy but yeah uh that's all i wanted to say see ya

Going candy shopping with my friends
hello wonderful to youtube it's alex and uh so the friday was two days ago as i've uploaded this video and i did some pretty fun things that day for starters we had no school friday except i did it's really weird it's called cvcc remember that thing i do um make a long story short i had to go in the morning but i didn't have anything in the afternoon so you know do my thing wake up go to class it's kind of boring actually um go in chill out and uh yeah i leave school at like 10 45 and head straight
home and i do some cleaning because i made my room tour video uh you guys probably saw that but um after that me and my two friends uh their names are alana and julia we decided what would be really fun if we went to sweeties we did and um that's what we did we went to sweeties it's a candy shop in there me about 20 25 minutes away and we had fun we went shopping we went to candy shopping i bought um some cool sodas and some cool candy i think i had some i got a box of candy cigarettes some
uh chungus pez dispenser a chocolate bar from japan i don't have that anymore unfortunately and um a soda that was chocolate brownie chunk flavored it's not very good i mean overall we had a lot of fun because after that we went to the um it's called we went to there's a milkshake shop there we've got milkshakes because why not it was real real fun and then i mean after that we just i just went home and dropped the ball off and went home because i know when it drives but overall it was really fun
um sorry i mean it was fun i mean we hung out it was a lot of fun we made lots of jokes with the candy and stuff like that and yeah i would do it again with them it's just uh we don't have a lot of time off uh but yeah especially with this new project coming up i'm trying to save some money but that project will be announced when the first order for it comes in i think you guys already saw it on stream but i don't remember anyways the the the reason why we didn't do anything
else except just go candy shopping because friday i had something to do that night which will be explained in the next video so i will wrap things up and i'll see you guys later uh peace out

New Project Announcement
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and um so i told you guys the other day i have a nice little project series coming up um it actually involves these lego bricks i i'm cleaning up right now but i thought i'd show you guys what i was doing pretty much all afternoon so basically i think in the last video i talked about how i have a really cool project i want to do and i'm just waiting for something to ship well the if you guys remember last saturday i did a live stream building the rail diesel
car uh that's my next project i'm currently part part ordering this set um the first shipment is coming in saturday or sunday sorry guys there's a lot of action going on just yet but uh it's gonna come in relatively soon next few days but we're gonna show you guys the parts i have now this is about a hundred parts give or take uh it's a little messed up because i was moving it but these are some of the parts needed to build the rail diesel car the reality is the car so just shy of 500 parts
and this here is about a hundred of them so it's about a fifth of the way give or take but when you factor in the uh what's it called the next parts that's about 175 of them so that that should be a pretty good jump in part counts so if you're wondering what all these parts are i can actually show you so these ones here that i put together these are the headlight bricks um you know your standard just one by one i just stacked them so i don't lose them this is actually the fuel tank assembly
this is gonna be the core holding it to the base might add some more bricks on the sides here to give it a little more like stick but it's not important these are some bricks needed for the radiator on top i need one more of these to actually finish it i think i got one lying around but i'm gonna have to dig through my lego bin some more this is the actually put it together now first part of the system's on this is the horn assembly if you remember in the live stream it was a binocular piece but this is the piece i
was going for i knew i had it lying around so this will be the horn for the rail diesel car not functioning obviously these tiles um these ones are for the steps actually these will be coating the steps these are just some miscellaneous plates i think these ones go over the windows after they're assembled these are going on the boogies or trucks if you're american these will be going on the base in line with uh well i forgot i pulled this piece out earlier uh this one this is used to help get the
front to look right and these will be there to assist in that these will just make it all level um these are going to be used again throughout and i need eight of these i don't remember where so these are going to be placing the floors these bricks here are just there because i'm substituting a two by eight for two by six and these would just be on the ends uh these will be holding everything uh so it's all flat and nice again some more small parts over there um oh these two plates here
um i actually ordered 48 of these on bricklink and i didn't did a revision where i need these two uh these little pipe looking things are actually the windshield wipers for the cab windows uh and some tile these actually this tile here is a 1x8 tile and this will be on the front side it's like if this was the front of the engine like if i'm looking dead on this would be placed on the side so we place on the side here so it uh it hides the gap of the windows i'm using to make the cab windows
oh and here are some bricks uh roof pieces they're not they're just used in the front for the the horn assembly so in the headlight assembly so it fits in nicely but yeah um that's actually gonna be the all the parts i pretty much need to make this i mean what i have right now oh and these i honestly do not remember where they go these look more tan than gray yeah these are fine uh overall it's gonna be a very good assembly i think it's gonna be pretty easy pretty nice i mean i already got 100
parts here and i need another 100 and or 350 parts to even get close to finishing but i would actually take more for my part spin if i had the parts i needed uh i'm not i don't want to sacrifice any of my previous sets or anything especially since the foundation i based the engine off of or this whole thing off of is actually currently used in my cargo train and that thing's like 11 years old so i want to sacrifice it but yeah if you guys enjoyed this quick little video it's a little late but

RDC Part Order Number One
hello wonderful to youtube it's alex and the first part order showed up uh today about 20 minutes ago now this over here is pre-existing parts and this is all uh stuff i gotta go through and after that i'm going to lay out all the parts and make sure everything's all said and done so let's try to open this up oh wow they got this good all right let's just [Applause] i'm not gonna be eating this again so i don't really particularly care [Applause] oh wow all right that's everything all right so
i guess the first part here to go through is our base for the entire thing actually it's got some scuffs on it but overall it's not too bad over here we've got a the windows and stuff all right we got all of those and oh yeah i forgot one of those is different all right actually compared this one was in my apartment for a while and oh yeah actually it's a whole different part oh i didn't even realize that oh well looks like i'm not gonna be using that one because it's a bit
different i'm trying to use the same parts so that's gonna stay the same uh i got a little business card from the guy shout out to i'm selling your bricks he's the guy who sold these to me so yeah all right so this is these are the windows these are all the one by one pieces i'm using throughout the build 24 of them this is probably all the or not most if not all of the bricks for the siding this is for the radiator on top and then uh right here definitely the uh the brackets i'm using using special
brackets to get the front of the engine right and then all these are little one by twos oh and the window panes for the train windows on the front and cap so uh why don't i take a second here uh lay everything out and check in with my order and i will get back to you guys in a alrighty guys i'm back i kind of started doing this about filming that's bad at my part so far i already verified all my little s brackets uh all 32 of these little guys and of course my bluish uh my 6x28 dark bluish gray
train bass all right so next up on the order to verify is uh uh these windows uh i'm obviously i know there's six of them at least there should be which means i can do about one and a half side panels which is not bad actually we'll break them i'll keep them in window panel anyways all right so here boom next part is 24 of those 1x1 pieces with the stud on the side so let's open up this little bag we'll do them we're doing groups of i'm thinking something groups of
six now these guys are actually pretty important because these will be used to uh do a lot of the detailing i'm pretty sure there's a handful of these that are used specifically just to make the side of the rail car all right all right there's three one thing i've noticed i know is since these are all used pieces the shades of the gray are a little inconsistent i don't know if it's manufacturing or just the fact that i used but i'm not going to complain there's nothing you can really do about it
and alright so here's 20. so yeah it looks like we've got all 24 of these little like bluish gray one by four or more one sorry bricks actually there was supposed to be 28 but i actually modified the design uh post production not post production but after the whole process now i should have 41 of these i think they're called fluted bricks so we're going to do them in patterns of 40. actually we'll go in patterns of two because it's gonna save me a lot of building time later
i'm actually gonna build this thing yeah the pre-existing parts actually they all came from my parts bin so that took a little bit of time to work out all right and i will just i think i'm like actually kind of inadvertently making that let's see i only need like i think 56 of these so if i have all i think like 45 or 47 of these now i should be pretty close to finishing the model i think my next part order which is probably two or three weeks from now because i have some things to do in my real life buy and stuff
i think the next part order is going to be finishing up the window panes those two window panes and then um yeah all right so that is done okay so that's all 41 yep all 41 of these pieces i wish they made these in a 1x4 variant because they did i would have bought i would design the walls all differently all right so that those will go here i'm doing the order of the part the part list order all right so now i gotta do 48 of these little things thank god though it's like the entire thing i need so
all right we're going to do them i'm not even sure how to do these you know we'll just do stacks of four look like a staircase out of them and i think at the end here i will do a little quick assembly of the entire thing uh not the entire thing but like just the end caps with the the uh the l s brackets and the one by six uh plates attached to them and everything i think i can do a decent starting per se of the entire build i know for a fact i can build the steps used in it on the uh train
well i know for a fact those 12 radiator events are here that's good that that should be easy to count because then i actually have to go update my order status because that's something you get to do as a bricklink buyer to prevent people from being sued i guess all right we're going to just wrap this up all right let's count 12. 12 times 4 is 48 yep all right so yep we got all those i can just tell so uh whoo all right so now i know all of these parts are here um let's go to my actual

I have been trolled by God
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and uh this video is going up sunday but i just got off work i have to make this real quick but i have been trolled by god himself okay let's recap so uh saturday night mad drama club and a friend of mine her name uh i'm not gonna say her name just the void slander um contracted the the the kuff is how i should be referring to it but i think you guys might know what the cuff is um so that means i had to be a little extra careful uh at school that week and
i was and i masked up and uh for any of you guys who know i am vaccinated so it's all good um uh i got tested on wednesday everything's good it was me and like three other classmates had to you know be worried oh but then thursday got my results negative i was actually gonna make a video then but then i got news from a classmate not even a whole day later like my other classmate my friend i'm not gonna say her name because i don't think she'd appreciate it tested positive and i was like no it was of
course it was the class she was in contact with the the one who originally got sick so that's fun um uh and now i have to be a little safe again i think i'm getting a test tomorrow or yeah well for you guys it's today for me it's tomorrow uh but it's overall is a massive troll on god's part it's probably because i started reading the bible how in the hebrew he was referring to himself as in a plural but we're gonna ignore that all i know is i have been trolled by

Thanksgiving While Camping 2
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and over the weekend i went camping this is the thanksgiving camp out to video so we start off with friday i get home from school and i get ready to go nothing really exciting going on there but we did go down to uh uh camp manatock it's a nice little camp in the peninsula about 30 minutes away and i actually didn't stay tonight i had to go to work the next morning and we went we made dinner we had a lot of fun set off the fire alarm and the fire department had to come up because it was
like a it was a staff lodge during the summer so i had to have a proper fire safety system uh but that was fun and then after that around 10 30 after we sat by the fire a little bit had dessert i went home uh went to bed went to work which was basically most of saturday i was at work um i forgot to call off that's on me but then sunday came around um yesterday but saturday afternoon i went back to camp and there was charlie my cousin charlie he came during the day and then we did a lot of games and stuff
like that hung out uh then we made dinner saturday night which was our thanksgiving dinner and it was actually really really fun after the thanksgiving dinner we um relaxed played some card games we played uno flip it was really very intense and then after that we all went to bed woke up the next morning and we will packed up and left overall very uneventful because i wasn't there for most of it but i thought i'd make a little note of it because i was there so anyways i hope you guys enjoy see ya

Ghostbusters Afterlife
hello wonderful youtube it's alex i saw ghostbusters on sunday and the new one ghostbusters afterlife and let me just tell you i'm gonna make a little critique of the video there's not gonna be too many spoilers but there will be spoilers so do bear in mind so ghostbusters ghostbusters after life released uh just last friday the 19th of november 2021 it was supposed to release i think earlier this year or late last year i don't remember but it had been delayed because of the cuff
pandemic but okay so it starts off let me get a little summary basically it's kind of a repeat of the first movie in the franchise but it's a little better actually so it starts off um starts off um with this guy driving a truck and running away from something while holding a trap he gets back to it's presumably his house and he tries to trap some ghosts but fails and then dies of a heart attack not really a lull but so then he goes and uh dies and it cuts to the three three of the main characters in the
movie this mom forget her name and uh shoot i'm forgetting the kid's name i'm stalling um i think it's pedigree or something like that this girl she's like 12 and then there's tyler who's 15. and they just got evicted from their apartment and uh it's presumably new york but i don't know they make this little road trip all the way out to uh oklahoma to this town called summerville where every day there's earthquakes and yeah it's pretty bad but not really their
grandfather who owned the house was known yes by the way the guy in the beginning is tied to this family i was known to be weird um very quiet um tyler gets a job because he sims for this girl who actually comes into the movie later and uh yeah it basically goes on girls into science discovers that her grandfather was a ghostbuster not gonna say which one and in the end they have to fight some ghosts because there was some temple built to the keymaster god thing and yeah the ending was really good too
like okay spoiler alert the original cast comes back and then the coolest part has got to be i can't i can't say it because it'd be too much of a squirrel i can't do that back but it's ending is just phenomenal the movie itself is really good i gave it a 9 out of 10. um there were some really cool shots in this movie that i feel like they want they probably would have wanted to do in the 1980s but they couldn't probably because of limitations but overall yeah i give this movie 9 out
of 10. i actually recommend you go see it it's pretty good overall yeah it's really great uh if you like this video like comment subscribe and i'll see you guys later peace out

RDC part order number 2!
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and i'm doing a little quick update here for the uh rail diesel car project i ordered these a couple days ago in the mail online and they came in the mail today they are the realistic uh couplers made by brick model railroader now if you guys give me a second here i'm gonna try to open it one-handed because i always just use my right hand for the phone and left-hand for whatever these couplers are pretty neat um went down they're pretty neat they are
uh like two bricks thick or two plates thick um these couplers are actually pretty decently sized they do actually couple and these little things um let you magnetically uncouple them these will be placed on the engine um so that the train can be realistic it's the best way to put it realistic and everything so uh yeah that is a quick little update to the project and i'll see you guys later peace out
