hello wonderful world of youtube it's alex and today well it's actually like a couple like almost like two weeks ago now i went to a couple of my friends musicals uh oh we got avery and zoe two different musicals let's start with avery because it was the first one i went to avery's musical was on i went on the third of april or something like that was it the third of april oh no it was a friday and um so i went it was really neat actually um and it was cinderella it was actually

really good she was on the costume team said she actually wasn't in it but like the costumes were great it was a really great show it was kind of funny and actually was very well paced i was never bored during the show uh and it was a little bit of a drive over there though a little expensive because i had to you know drive all the way to west lake or whatever it was called because that's where she goes to school but overall it's really great uh unfortunately though for zoe's not so much

sound of music the long play the problem is the pacing of the show within the first 15 minutes of the the first act i thought the show could have legitimately been over which is a little bit of a concern because of how it was paced out it wasn't very funny i don't even think i laughed i think i laughed maybe once and it was during the scene where they held up a uh a world war ii era german flag but it didn't have a certain um windmill design on it they had um they had a they had hate and where the windmill

should be which is okay um it's great i know they didn't want any controversy but i'm a person where i like historical accuracy i don't know why i just like when things are right that's just me i don't i don't like nazis i just like when things are accurate to the time period but i get why they did that so um i mean to school they don't want to get in trouble they're already having you know school's already getting a lot of trouble nowadays uh but it was really long shows two and a

half hours but the pacing was just awful awful awful awful and some of the um which i mean i don't blame the production i don't blame the cast or crew for that one that's just how it was written for the high school adaptation um but some of the um it was specifically the the captain guy his addiction could have been a little better i had trouble understanding him um it was a little difficult but overall it was pretty pretty good show actually everything oh the singing was great the lead actress was great the the

the girls played children including zoe we're great all the guys everyone who played the shows were great it was just i have a couple of gripes about the pacing and how like i felt like the musical could have legitimately ended i think like four or five times and it would have made sense where it ended like there was a scene like it could have ended at the wedding and i would have been like yeah makes sense father comes in his children are very strict doesn't like music in the end they're happy getting married and

there's music that would have worked for me i would have believed that was a very fair ending to the the the show but it wasn't it was a chaotic trip um i mean zoey did a great job her friend her sister did a good job and her friend's a good job it's just there are some gripes i had about it and unfortunately like for cinderella like i kind of knew the story of cinderella so like maybe that's what helped the pacing for me go better it's hard to compare two different shows

because once in all girls school ones not but i mean that's just how i went i mean overall it's a unique experience i want my friend lily actually to the um to zoe's actually i forgot to mention that but yeah it was pretty fun and yeah i'll see you guys around if you guys like this you know if you make it this far comment uh music below anyways i'll see you guys later peace out

Kent State Trip

hello wonderful youtube it's alex um a couple days ago now i went to do a visit to kent state yeah i know shocker i mean i'm in high school i was gonna be a senior i gotta start looking around for colleges so we went to kent state it was about an hour drive and my mom promised me we'd get a w afterward this is actually a key detail later now we get up there it was cold it was like eight in the morning nine in the morning on a saturday um and it was snowing right now as i'm filming it is 45

outside and it was like snowing it wasn't oh awful awful awful campus was nice we walked around we saw the different rooms and everything like that was it was a nice little campus over in kent ohio i'm not afraid to say that because kent state you can look it up um um the dorms look nice um and since i technically qualify for the solo dorm i might if i if i went there i'd probably go for that because they were actually pretty nice uh the only problem i had with it was there's no underground tunnels because

at least i've been to a couple different universities i've been to miami of ohio that was years ago i've been to john carroll that was when i was a freshman csu osu and um shucks i've been to another university i just don't remember what it was called i want to say i've been to the university before kent i just can't for the life of me remember what it was it doesn't matter i don't know if i actually did but i just maybe i'm just getting tricked but a lot of them had

underground tunnels like csu had sky bridges other than the dorms you could go to all the buildings and never leave and they said they were working on connecting the dorm buildings so you could realistically never leave the buildings which is kind of weird to think about um it's just yeah that's my only gripe like i don't know if i want to get but like you know seven in the morning six in the morning go to a class in the snow or rain it'd be awful but i mean the campus was nice there's an a&w there

it was great but the problem is so the tour ended early like in half an hour early because we didn't do a lot of walking because of the weather conditions which meant i couldn't go to a&w and get lunch and so i was like come on please say time it was ten minutes from campus if we wait a few minutes it will be fine and she's like no so we didn't go to a w i was bamboozled lied to scammed out of my precious a&w but it's all right because i'm probably gonna go back there in a couple days

maybe like after spring break which i'll be making daily videos about that by the way going vlogs going into walt disney world i think the 64 something back announcing that but yeah that's gonna be really great um i'm excited for florida and i'm excited for the whole future but yeah that's i'm off topic already but that's just how things are um this is gonna be it's gonna be me uh going to uh the the the university yeah see you guys around uh peace out

The Third Voyage to Columbus

hello wonderful to youtube it's alex this weekend i did the third voyage to columbus you're wondering the third voyage what was the first two well the first two you guys remember i went to columbus and it got rained on featuring jamie my best one of my best friends um second time was for skillsusa this is the third time was for my aunt's birthday um so it started off if you guys remember in the last video going to kent um after kent we left for um home got home i mean if we weren't riding we just

drive from kent dairy because my mom came and my dad it was a mess so we went from kent straight to columbus kent home home columbus makes sense good so we we we started our drive to columbus where um we uh we stopped at a couple of places actually along the way the first place we stopped was grandpa's cheese barn in ashland it's a great little local place if you ever get a chance to stop there stop there it's amazing um they got great cheese they got just great stuff actually and then the second place we stopped

along the way was way closer to columbus was this place called white castle many of you guys know what it is it's terrible fast food but they don't have it in cleveland um so we we stopped and got some sliders they're pretty actually i didn't get sick from them this time so that's a shocker and the last place we stopped at was this little actually two more sorry not last so we stopped this little place called bendlam bricks now bend them bricks i've been hearing about it

all the dang time on wow cable they're talking about it's like an ad they put on there so we decided screw it we're gonna go there so we did and it was a little stop they got some they had some prices were questionable other prices were fine i got two minifigs unfortunately i don't have with me they were a 1999 c-3po and if you don't know he was light pearl gold at the time now he's dark pro gold or regular poke gold and i got chopper and he's pretty rare and i got him for 30 bucks i know it's a

little overpriced but chopper was a little more expensive than that he's like 25 bucks something like that c-3po is pretty cheap because he was a pretty common figure um after that we went to discount drug mart at lewis center which um was an interesting experience it was a pretty mid-store compared to mine it's way smaller way lamer and has green markings instead of blue in some areas for some reason but whatever then after that i went to the party um well actually helps out the party in

the party started and i was there until about 10 o'clock then we went back to the hotel our motel and we watched talladega nights on mtv um and then we went to bed and this morning or not this morning but sunday morning we got up and we quickly rushed back us at 11 o'clock today um we are at 12 o'clock i have a train so actually uh i'll be making a video about that pretty soon so don't worry about it but yeah that's a pretty pretty exciting weekend right there voyage to columbus but yeah let's
