LEGO Store visit 2022
alrighty ladies and gentlemen i only really can't tell but i have arrived it's currently 6 26 a.m so i actually was a little slower than i expected to get here expecting to get here by around 6 20 but i did kind of go a little slower because on the highway because i didn't want to you know i could have gone faster probably got away with it i didn't want to risk it because you know don't need a speeding ticket but yeah i'm the i don't know if you guys can see actually you know what one second we're
gonna do a quick cut i'm uh like the only person this entire parking lot i'm actually kind of half expecting to get stopped by security but um it wouldn't be too weird for someone to show up this early but yeah the lego store it's actually just about right over there um in the building i gotta get over there uh i just gotta wait now i'm gonna probably wait another hour before i try to go in for the first time so like 7 30 8. um oh i don't think they're gonna unlock the building until nine so

hour i don't expect me to even be able to have an opportunity to get into the mall until eight that's about sunrise um earliest i would say is eight but probably around nine but yeah um nothing really going on just chilling um just me so my cousin was gonna come but then something happened and i just saw an ambulance i think goodbye but that's not important i'm perfectly fine and safe in this car um yeah uh that's gonna wrap things up uh i'll see you guys in another half hour
all right folks it's like 7 29 now so i started filming a minute late last time i'm filming a minute early cancels out pemdas but yeah at 7 29 sky's gonna get a little brighter um that's good we're still outside the nordstrom mall still yet to unlock and probably again i won't unlock probably until 9 or 8 30. around there um yeah look at my black blinking dash lights i'm unbuckled in my name my entire mind needs servicing but for context uh it's not an important thing
uh yeah it's a nice little morning sky's getting brighter the lights turned off actually about 10 minutes ago um the all the exterior lights it was kind of weird um but yeah we're still the only ones in this lot um so there's that we're waiting uh now until uh eight o'clock now to do the next update and after that we got um excuse me i gotta wait till like 8 30 so i can go check the doors but yeah that's gonna wrap things up uh for this little recap i'll see you guys
in about uh half an hour yeah all right folks it's 8 a.m uh as you can tell it's pretty bright outside now sunrise just a few minutes ago uh so it's funny right after i stopped recording um the security they're just doing their patrols around they do patrol like once an hour i kind of saw when i was coming in but i didn't really think much of it because you know so they come in and the guy actually hit the stop because there was a uh there was another problem at the door the cleaning staff were trying to like
unlock it and he had to come over he was just nearby and he asked me hey um i rolled up my windows and said hi you're like hey um you're a little early it was about 7 35 and i was like yeah i'm here for lego store opening um they're releasing a new set come and they open at 10 and i was uh hoping they get in the building around nine say well i'm not sure if they'll be able to get a nine he's like are you sure they open at 10 i go yes i called yesterday and they said they opened at 10 a.m sir he's like all
right well don't call these like don't cause any trouble i was like i don't plan on sorry i plan to sit in my car it's nice and warm he's like all right and you're like we'll just uh be safe uh don't get in trouble and uh he said you probably get in the belly until 10 i said i said all right i understand sir uh thank you for letting me know and then he told me have a happy new year so have a good day you know going to be nice and civil and then yeah he left but that wasn't any bad like
something basic like i mean sure yeah there's a kid there's a car parked right by one of the doors i probably should plan my parking better but you know uh there's actually another car i don't know if you guys can see it over there but there's another car um so yeah i'm not the only one in this lot except i think that's an employee for dillards it might even be their manager um yeah it's it's a bit early but i don't really care i'm gonna check the doors at the next
interval i'm gonna get my mask up go up to the doors if they're unlocked which they might be i'll go in and we will probably be at the lego store insurance instead of the um in here but if not within the next hour i should be in the building at the door at the doors of the lego store waiting to get that hotel anyways folks uh yeah that's gonna wrap this little update let's uh see you guys at the 8 30. already boys are at the lego store uh let's see it behind me we're going to be

RDC Project Update
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and uh if you guys remember about a month and a half ago give or take i had started the rail diesel car project designed it on stream started ordering parts now it's been a minute and i had actually been ordering the rest of the parts i didn't do any unboxing videos because those are very long and boring to make but in here i've got all the parts to build it now i'm probably not going to build it on stream because having again hardware issues but
um i will definitely do a review video of my own construction afterwards uh yeah all the parts are here some of it i kind of assembled already this was the thing that kept giving me motivation was the big that broke off the the rail car base with its prime movers already attached now i'm very excited the last part order just came in today and now after that's done where i have a little freight train going on will become passenger rail with a nice crisp rail diesel car the train of the future
but yeah uh come back here it's all in here and yeah um you guys will have to check it out later but we'll see you guys around yeah peace out

Rail Diesel Car LEGO MOC
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and here it is the rail diesel car mock standing before you in real well on video at least but in real life it's got some neat design features an overall symmetrical build except for the horn on top uh some custom coupler not custom but they're custom couplers not official lego and overall a sleek and modern look to rail travel in lego city so uh let's cover some basics of this thing so this real diesel car uh it cost me about i think it was a hundred
dollars to make it's about 500 parts so it's it's a little bit on the pricier side but it's also mostly all this light gray so and with some dark grays and uh some other things those couplers were like 20 bucks after shipping was annoying but the the most expensive parts actually uh had to be the windows on these doors and the cab these gray ones only came i believe in two sets one of them was the spider-man doc ock attack from 2004 and i don't remember the other one if there even is another one
uh so they're pretty hard to get so they're expensive these panes weren't super bad actually they're like cheap in this color but the frame itself was expensive now there are some interesting design elements if you are eagle-eyed you'll notice these windows are too tall one by two by two windows but they're sideways that is i can get the more proportional look of the windows uh and you also notice there's little stairs to get to the door platform which i thought would be a neat detail to have
now these couplers are uh o scale i believe and they uh do work you can hook them up with other uh osu couplers but i mean this is a lego train not a um model train uh and then of course there's an interior but i think i should cut the video because this roof's a little difficult to get off so let's go inside so here is the interior it's nothing special it's just some seven seats and you can see these plates they're supposed to help these windows not fling out but they don't
really do a good job at it but it is just seven seats and overall it's just empty there's not even like proper doors i always put doors on the ends here but i decided against it for structural reasons so now let's compare this to some other lego engines so here's a lego's re-release of legos at number 7810 it's a steam engine compared to the uh rdc rail diesel car it's it's about the same height a couple of plates shorter for the most part than the radiator dome uh
but i mean it's about the same size terms of height so this looks bigger because it's about move it about double the length of the engine so you need like two of these engines back to back like two and a quarter maybe to get about the same length as one of these rdcs so yeah let's go places in my city where i've intended to put it the entire time so here's the rdc in the city as you can see i put it just behind the assembly square and pet shop the idea is i want to i wanted to put a little rail line
that ran through here along for a long time so i put one here there's no train station yet but if i ever got to expand the city there'd definitely be a train station uh and it would definitely be parked right at it i mean it's nice little train goes back and forth and uh i mean yeah so that's about to wrap it up i hope you guys enjoyed do like comment subscribe and definitely tell me what you guys think of this new shiny rail diesel car and i will talk to you guys later yeah peace out

hello wonderful world of youtube it's alex and uh that's a weird way to introduce this video but uh you see the last week um was my first week back at school that was a fun week because let's say it was boring except for wednesday which is what this video is going to be about or sorry thursday you see wednesday i got my covid booster because i'm a responsible person just kidding i just felt like it for the funnies um and i got it and that was good i made a drama club practice actually on time
even though i'm supposed to miss it by about i missed the first half of it because of the booster but i got there on time because they took me in early until thursday and thursday was torture sorry um make a long story short i wake up and i feel a little off but i'm like i'll go to school i go to school no uh i was feeling awful every minute got worse and worse by the time i was leaving at uh CVCC at 10 45 i was like i'm going straight home and i'm gonna go to bed and i do not
care so i told my dad i was like okay i'm going to bed and i thought i was like hey call the school until i'm not going back cause i do not feel good so i go home and i go to bed and i sleep from about 11 30 to 2 30 where i had to get up and get nathan after that i uh something in my eye sorry after i get nathan i go back and take another nap and then get some chicken little soup after that and after that i kind of just rest the rest of the evening went down to my store turning some off hours and
then all my way back to bed and then finally when i woke up like nothing ever happened it was the funniest thing ever the day before headaches tiredness stomach aches i was going to puke and the next morning nope nothing at all so yeah long story short the world may feel like it's ending but it ain't because it's just not that's gonna wrap this little thing up so yeah i'll see you guys around peace out

Funny work story
hello wonderful to YouTube it's Alex as you can tell I am at work right now and I had the funniest experience just now on my lunch so don't worry I'm not skipping work but is it the funniest experience before my lunch um it's called I had to dig a car out of snow now I didn't do it alone I did it with my manager but um if you're unaware um well I mean probably in 20 years or however long it takes someone to see this video again there was a snowstorm um the 16th and it's currently the 17th and
parking lot's full of snow I mean we cleared most of it but still in manager gets stuck in the spot where there was there was like the driveway it goes to the drive-through for the driveway Pharmacy they got stuck there and we had to dig them out and uh it's just today's been fun I mean it took like I think 15 minutes to dig them out but the more fun thing is there's uh pretty much no one here I think there's been four cash years and me and one other stock person and um my manager that's it
um like it's just been a very very slow day though like I'm pretty much being paid to do nothing and I don't mind [Music] um yeah it's gonna really wrap things up but yeah I'm filming at work because it's something that's so funny I had to do it now anyways I'll see you guys later peace out

I went bowling and scored 122
hello wonderful youtube it's alex and last night i went bowling uh with my friends lily and zoe i think i've mentioned a few times on this channel anyways um so i went bowling so you know i roll up they call me at like four like hey you wanna go bowling at seven i'm like sure but little do they know i'm actually a god at bowling and i mean a a pretty much a god at bowling like like compared to my classmates i consistently i i tend to consistently score in the 90s to low 100s and i showed that
off when at the first game they got i think 40 each and i got a score of 122. uh yeah i'll put a picture up here for a little bit um yeah my score was 122 they got 39 and 47. i mean overall they did pretty good but as you can see i did pretty well too so then the second game um was a little closer i don't have a picture of the score on that one but it was we all scored in the 80s but i still won by like a clutch i clutched by like getting like a strike in the ninth frame it really helped
um and then the third game i lost to lilia now the fun fact about lily she had never done bowling before um she had only been she just hadn't been bowling and so when she won like she was like kind of like trying to rub it in my face that like i lost and i'm really good but like i don't care i'm actually pretty happy like you won a game and you're your first time ever playing like that's that's pretty good you learn to get good uh i mean overall the bullying was actually pretty fun um
a couple more of my classes were there alex different alex not me and a classmate named chase i think he's made an appearance once on this channel i don't remember but yeah um so overall pretty fun yeah that's gonna wrap things up for this video i hope you guys enjoyed and i'll see you guys later peace out

Had a snow day, went to a different store
hello wonderful youtube youtube it's alex and today i went to a different drug mart store to where i work at so you see i drive my mom to a uh a hair appointment today she's not allowed to drive yet because of the surgeries he had and um and so i was messing around i drove around a little bit while she was doing it and i went to this drug mart store i was like a mile down the road and it felt like walking in to an alternate reality let me explain so i walk in actually i get to the parking lot
and uh first thing i spot is a blue shopping cart which isn't unusual um because you know probably try to be any color in fact my store used to have blue shopping carts but there are these older model shopping carts that are at least 13 14 years old because well i did some digging in the manufacturer who made them went bankrupt in 2008. um that's a fun story but then um uh i walked around i just felt off like you know like i kind of like recognized like i felt like i know these people but
i don't they don't know me and i just walked around i got like a can of soda or a bottle soda just i didn't look like i was shoplifting um it looks really weird but i don't know i mean i mean people do weird things but i mean sorry for that being a little dull got a little off topic but like yeah i walked around and it was just weird i don't know oh and some of the signs are different but i mean different stores different signage but uh yeah it was it was weird oh yeah i guess also today i should
