Sorry for absence

hello wonderful to youtube it's alex and i've taken like a two week hiatus from the channel but sorry about that mostly for two reasons a ct studying and um drama club you see the musical i don't have a screwdriver but the musical is this friday at 7pm and saturday 7pm and uh the act was actually just today i got home from it which is why i'm going to upload this at like 12 15. i've been studying a lot for it i mean it shows the adams family it's been really difficult um

gosh sunday we had an eight hour practice nine hour practice sorry and it's just been awful i mean with school and everything like i haven't had time to really focus it down which is why i haven't made the warner warthorn museum video yet because i haven't had time and i'm sorry i made a promise i want to get it done this weekend if i have time but i don't think i will because i work saturday morning and uh you get the idea um but you guys know i'm still here i'm
,br>chipping along i'm hoping fingers crossed after the musical's done i can start making some more videos sunday i might do a live stream but don't hold me to that uh but yeah march is definitely the slowest month um this that i've ever had because i've just been so busy and with gas prices and everything there's just not much to really talk about because i haven't been doing anything other than school and work but yeah um we'll i'll make a video talking about the show

on sunday for sure to talk about it and get the warthog museum video going and yeah that's gonna wrap things up uh still here and i'll see you guys around peace out

Addams Family summary

hello wonderful to youtube it's alex and you know what it's finally done the musical well that's actually not true we don't know 100 yet but it's done for now and i'm happy because for the life of christ it was a long one starting back in december the first meeting december 2nd you guys remember that video i uploaded it where it was announced to be the adams family to now or yesterday sorry the show's over three months of practices and getting ready and and then performing

it was awesome the entire time and in the end um like i said everyone did really good like congratulations everyone but um it's done and then of course let's start from the beginning so friday i get off school i go home for like an hour and i get back up to the high school change get in the costume and then perform it was awesome afterward i saw my friend avery hadn't seen her in like two years and i saw sammy ella and a couple other people i don't think you guys have quite ever met

it was great and then i went home uh actually it's a lie sorry i didn't go home because why would i go home right after i went to taco bell with sydney and um and alexis and matthew pj jamie you guys seen jamie before i i went to columbus to hang out there for a day um it was great honestly great um and then um after that um i went home finally and went to bed woke up saturday morning went to work for six hour it wasn't bad um and then you know after that went home for like an hour and then went to the

show after the show i mean the second i was great both nights were amazing i never felt uncomfortable on stage actually now it was that's saying a lot because the last three shows i ever technically performed in or were ever in which was spamalot all together now and um wonderland all of them i was nervous on stage this one no i never felt nervous and that that's just that's just it it was really fun after the second show i went to a cast party was there until like midnight it was great hung out with some friends

t was great i'm kind of sad it's coming to an end um yeah that's that's really about it i mean if you didn't come see it that's a shame but it's overall amazing now if we actually do the dazzle awards i'll have to perform some of it again but we don't know that yet until i'm not sure actually but yeah um see you guys around peace out

Warther Museum Vid!

hello wonderful to youtube it's alex and finally i'm making the wharton museum video now don't worry the background i'm still in my room i just turned around 180 degrees um because i'm working on my computer while doing this so you see um uh the worthy museum it's a museum down in dover ohio it's just off of i-77 and it's a museum about this guy named ernest wortherne who made lots of these carvings of steam locomotives in the history of steam throughout his life he also made knives but that's not

the important part and he did a really good job at them he died in the 70s i believe or the 80s but he he makes a really cool carving so let's have um let's start from the beginning here so basically he was born in the 1800s and his family was pretty poor i mean most people were in that time but um he didn't really do a lot of schooling he never went to school past second grade and he had his first job at five where he uh herded cows and he did that for 10 years then he went to uh he worked at the local steel plant

and he actually it's believed he might have been the inventor of the steel toe boot or been one of them because he made steel-toed boots for his co-workers and himself at the plant um and after that he started making him he'd been working on wood carvings his entire life because when he was about five or six he found a pocket knife while herding cows and he made a lot of cool things um including this neat thing which i'm about to show you guys here in a second the thing he made being a pair of

working pliers well this is actually three pliers in one but he made a pair of working pliers from one piece of wood takes ten cuts um he was taught that actually by a traveler that came through town one day and ever since then he made a lot of cool things including a tree made entirely of these pliers which i'll be showing here a little bit and he did a lot of cool carvings a lot of his early work was not to scale and then later on they were which is pretty impressive when you think about this because

um he uh he never got any technical readouts of these engines he would just look at photos of him or see him in person and um and he would do it like just like that and they were really really good so yeah let's um let's move into some of these pictures here in a second and i will we'll be moving over to the narration of photographs so first up here we got the cool pliers tree it's made with like a bunch of little pliers and we got this little cool steam engine here that actually moves there's a lot

of cool parts all in skill you know lots of lots of work and then here is the union pacific big boy that he made again it's all in scale it's made from walnut lots of cool little details on that thing and over here is this uh constant torque steam turbine engine that looks really cool but it never actually ran in real life he didn't like it very much then here is actually i believe uh to be another neat little engine i took a picture of and then um and then the last one here actually um

was running if you can see very slowly the wheels are moving on this one all of them can do it just they don't run them all like that constantly because it is a lot so yeah that's the uh my little video on the war the museum i uh i'm sorry it took so long i just things got really busy with the musical and everything and i just didn't have time to do it but yeah i hope you guys enjoyed it it's not the best but yeah catch you guys around peace out
