Ultimate Cedar Point Trip 8/30/2022

all right this is part two of the ryan chronicles here at cedar point the only place to ever be and we're gonna go catch up with him he said he's at fount raven right now so it's a tuesday i'm skipping school not really skipping i kind of got permission but judging that val gatekeeper's practically empty it's gonna be a great day it's a little chilly but it's supposed to warm up later that's why i'm wearing a windbreaker not the wool jacket because i don't want to get that ruined anyways i'll see you guys later here is cedar point it's kind of dreary right now but it did rain this

morning apparently almost every ride's walk on so it's gonna be a great a great morning very excited very happy actually oh there goes valravn right in there i love val raven you know in like 20 years if i ever watch this video again and probably look back like wow cedar point's changed a lot and there it goes all right i gotta go to the bathroom so it's been a second i said i would vlog when i saw ryan but we rode we decided to ride val raven power tower twice because we we

actually had to get off they said no we just did the magnum and we're gonna go see if we can bribe the operators let us ride um what's it called we're gonna just run new credit and if not we'll just go ride um we'll go ride uh woodstock express which is actually one of my favorites here so we'll see you guys later so we didn't get to ride wilderness run but i'm fine with that we got i've seen one train with people yeah but it's great i just saw a second one we were at magnum yes

but it's a great day it's great hashtag cp best day because we're riding everything and these are the ryan chronicles at cedar point and they keep testing gemini and it hasn't opened yet it makes me sad anyways we we go and ride steal vengeance so ryan where are you we just rode still vengeance three times in a row with the fast lanes that was the scariest ride our last ride we were in the back ride we had his bright idea where is it right there we decided to ride um we

decided to ride it looking backwards and it was crazy looking backwards down the first drop it felt like reality was falling apart it was crazy 10 out of 10 would do it again i think the scariest part going backwards what's the second inversion called uh snake dive snake dive snake dive looking backwards i didn't do it because i didn't want to hurt my neck no i felt like my neck was going to pop oh it was crazy all right we're gonna get some some munchies because we're

hungry and then we'll probably check in while we're eating but that is just crazy look at that thing i love that ride oh my gosh you're pulling a train on maverick it's so cool i've never seen a transfer train right before oh man um now i only see one train there's one train there and there's another train backwards you're gonna do one at a time oh you're right it'd be good if they were adding two turns yesterday when i was here they were boarding um like one at a time in the

station so we just did the rip cord or frontier flame we're gonna call it and okay so since the this little clip about the transfer track we ate our lunch and we uh what do we also do we wrote mine right and then maverick three times rice yeah yeah it was great and now we're walking towards millennium force that makes 15. that was our 15th ride for the day and it's only yeah i was 14 15. right where singer was 15 14. and then uh it's three o'clock we've ridden 15 rides and i've

been here since like 10 30 so like four hours like that's that's pretty good anyways we're gonna do millennium force a couple times and then we're gonna check back in see y'all later ah now we're walking back from alex retrieving his keys from frontier fling i left it there i was an idiot we got drinks and i'm gonna do a honey stick review classic review so let's see i got three in my pocket which one we're picking out [Music] blueberry all right taste it that translates well into

honey like caramel does not but this does we had a caramel one earlier it was really bad yeah anyways i think we're gonna go on to millennium force i've won today and why have you won alex the ornament right right that actually that video i took earlier will be in the yes but i won at what cost i'm gonna do another one i think i can do it before we get on behind i would have said that check out water hmm that might just be straight up honey it's good yeah cool all right i think

that's enough that might be the best one no i'm not done yet ah there we go so we're just real millennium force the guy in the road in front of us it was just uh 3 100 ride pretty neat we got second row we're gonna go do this again and then we're probably in my car put my jacket and the ornament away because i don't want to carry that around all day hey let me teach you something about logging just hold it like further from you no people can be in the frame no i

know it won't be an alex cushion man video no you have a particular style of vlogging where it looks like this and then anyone else who's in the frame is like heaven well that's just how i do it it's also because like half the time i'm like walk it's like really hard for me to look at the camera where i'm going but yes we are going to ride this again the millennium all you can't see it but you got the idea millennium force because the future's riding on so we're in line for iron dragon

and um let's see well i said we updated when we updated we had the money of course uh it was after you were so excited that you won no no no no i'm letting you import how you were holding your camera yeah and that was a millennium force so now we're here and since then we rode gatekeeper raptor and blue streak one train on iron dragon we're running one knobs on iron dragon oh and we also heard valor even just a minute and then that was great [Music] but now

we're in line for iron dragon that awesome coaster that's suspended but now we we wait and after this it's gonna be ruguru and then gemini and then we're gonna marathon africa so we are walking towards the avengers after doing gemini and the park is so dead right it's so dead but the goal is simple we got to ride steal vengeance seven times in two hours if we do that we'll bring it ten times today more than two hours it will be great if we ride still vengeance ten times

today i will feel accomplished in life and really started and really sore oh yeah we wrote like every coaster except for worlds in this run and techno director today like every coaster that's how dead the park is that's great ish yeah we'll have to disappear because we're going to keep our phone in the locker so bye youtube bye all right we're done it's it's 7 24 and we just finished 10 total rides of the day seven in a row all right ryan get up [Music] we wrote it too many times

and um it was great ryan you'll over here talk tell the audience ryan that was a good idea and i highly recommend the experience except um it's like you're trying to get bored of steel vengeance my thighs are kind of sore now all right like it's gonna i'm gonna wake up tomorrow and i'll probably make a video about this about ranting about how this sucked but we're gonna ride maverick one more time just get a fourth ride on it mostly because the line's super short and

then we're gonna ride magnum once because i promised ryan a a sunset ride on the best ride in the world i i actually don't like magnum that much what's up anyways we're done with with mean streak for now and we're gonna we're gonna go um ride maverick and after that we're just gonna chill out uh i might i might we might go get a ride photo might is it yes and i'm gonna go home and right we're going to go home we'll we'll do a final vlog but yeah probably second like

last quarter yeah yeah all right maverick time all right so um we just got off our last friday night of power tower i saw stephen but i didn't say hi to him again so honestly i'm gonna actually might go to guest services for this actually i'm gonna go there and i want them to tell stephen that he made my summer inadvertently really magical even though he did literally nothing for most of it it just let you go on power tower yeah but like then it became a game of will i see him

Custom Modular Grocery Store

hello wonderful to youtube it's alex a few months ago back in january i did a live stream where i designed a building a grocery store to be precise today i could finally review what i've been slowly working on over the last couple of weeks that is constructing in real life the whole building as you can see in the first reveal there has been some design changes since i designed that

building most notably down here we have some plants now and the windows are now blue also the arches are different shape with some shields to help add a little bit more of a pizzazz to it and there's also a newspaper box now with a very similar design to the one featured in the detective's office let's open it up let's take a look at the interior and see if we can spot any differences the first floor here is the grocery store along with the stairwell over here to the top

floor or upper floors inside here we have some grocery shelves with just some random red blue and green bricks representing different product it's also a clock about the door which matches all the other ones in my city at three minutes till three over here we have a little dairy cooler there's six different jugs of milk in there you can open it it doesn't open all the way due to space limitations over here is a little deli counter with a menu board in the near future i'd like to replace

this deli board and give it a custom cut vinyl sticker with like writing on it to kind of make it look more used there's also the register here with a little checkout counter also on the exterior here we have these planters these are actually designed using a very unique strategy where i would take brackets which actually hold this whole assembly up and then take green brackets with a tile here to make the planters with some flowers on top four of them are the are exactly identical

well these two over here have modified designs to accommodate the newspaper stand and also the design work on the tile here kind of interesting i'm not sure if i like it and it may change in the future but we will get there when we get there and of course the all iconic lamppost is the same assembly as the one seen in the police station why i picked it i think it looks the best let's move on to the second floor or as i like to call the floor of no requirement the upper floor here is

relatively empty and that's because i couldn't really think of a use for it when i was designing it off camera so i made it a very generic performance area inspiration comes from the boutique hotel where there is a say a little sign and one of the printed pieces that say andy performing his saxophone at the music hall or something like that i don't remember the whole specifics but i did evidently make this area inspired from it if you actually look over here you can see the support

member for the stairs which are very sturdy for a custom design and then the windows design this took a lot of work if you guys remember and if you also remember these ingot pieces weren't here initially i added them to give it a more smooth out and fleshed out look the windows would change to blue to add a little more pop of color to the building after all this building is very um kind of boring when it's all white and gray that's why i try to add some more color so now

let's move on to the upper floor or the floor that i had the most fun designing the upper floor here is an apartment a lot of the furniture here is borrowed from other existing modular buildings such as the couch here if you don't know is the same one featured in the assembly square if i just move it out real quick you can see it's a fold-out couch you may be wondering why i put one in it's cause i decided that if a guest or a minifigure who lives here want to have a guest they

should be able to why not it's a pretty good looking couch over here is the bedroom the beds actually borrow design from the boutique hotel uh the desks nightstands are custom design although they're really generic so i don't really say they're custom and the lamps actually feature unprinted uh bb heads um in black with gold cones one by one cones to make the lamps over here we have a little bathroom which actually features a sink design bar from the again the

boutique hotel and a custom design toilet which i don't like but hey nothing's perfect in life and over here we have a little kitchen with of course working cabinets and a little kitchenette thing it's pretty neat little detail and overall i like the lay out this apartment the most it feels very realistic compared to most lego modular buildings and also if something i didn't mention the other floors the stairwell it's pretty much the same on all the floors but i think it looks pretty well

done so let's move on now to the final finishings and my final thoughts with the roof piece is pretty generic and pretty empty nothing much is going up here but there is a roof access that's why i put the stairs going up that far but otherwise there isn't much going on up here just these little fake window arches i put in to add a little more spice but that's about it and to wrap up my thoughts on this building i really do appreciate that i had the opportunity to build something i

designed in real life it took a while after all i spent about three hours designing the building and then it took about another hour doing the interior work and then about four hours doing the instructions and then six hours to actually build the whole thing and that was the fun part was building it because i really didn't know if i had all the pieces my list that i did but there's always room for error i guess but it's completed at some point i'm going to put this in my city i'm not

sure where yet because my city's kind of maxed out for building space but i hope you guys enjoy this video and i hope you guys enjoy seeing this building in person so i'll catch you on the flip side

Jessica and the bird

hello wonderful to YouTube it's Alex so the other day it's actually just Friday and today's Monday I'm in stats class and it's a pretty small class so we kind of get a little more leniency AP stats and we go in the hall um and and we're doing this thing we're supposed to see how accurately we can throw a penny and as we're sitting there it's just me my classmates uh there's Drew there's Kyle Sam and Hillary um no no Drew wasn't there it was Kyle Sam Ethan Hillary and

Jessica so yeah and we're sitting out there yeah we're just doing our work when suddenly as I noticed according to my eye see something like flying I Dart my head over that way and I look everyone's wondering what I'm looking at because there's a bird now the second floor hallway by school is really tall so for for context so um like it's about like a two-story high ceiling so you can it would be pretty easy to have a bird hide up in the windows up there no one sees a bird

and they just accuse me of lying until the bird flies right overhead tweeting started a frenzy we had to catch the bird and release it outside which is what we started trying to do now uh we chased a bird successfully down to the South stairwell um where we can at least close the doors that lead to it and trap the bird and that's what we did and we kept we were basically chasing it around trying to finagle to the doors out that lead outside when Jessica somehow

caught the bird with her bare hands it's a miracle the bird freaks out and just goes berserk and then just stops because Jessica's has a really good grip on it we carry it outside and we um we make sure that we let it go we actually sat down the mulch and the shade because it was like stunned according to our biology teacher who is uh nearby and yeah um until he saved a bird uh it's kind of a short story but it's a story about a bird anyways I'll see you guys later peace out
