Cedar Point WILL build the tallest coaster in 2024
hello Wonderful World YouTube it's Alex I have reason to believe just just by thinking recently that Cedar Point is going to build the world's tallest roller coaster for 2024. now you're wondering Alex that's crazy to go 500 feet no no I don't think they're going 500 feet that's the thing I think well I mean there's a chance but I'm leaning that they're gonna go 400 feet not the 500 foot range and you understand anything about Alex why would how would they extend the
top hat they're not extending the top hat you see top girl dragster you know as you know as you remember it you go up twist come down that's it and it's kind of boring but it's really cool because you go up 400 feet which is amazing problem is well it's it's all you do I think what they're doing in all seriousness is they're going to give it a swing launch like Pantheon a Busch Gardens Williamsburg I don't have any photos because I'm too lazy to edit this I'm I'm just
getting this thoughts out for my friend Ryan but basically I think with the swing launch you're gonna go up forward not Crest the top maybe you love 300 feet maybe a little more go backward launch as fast as they can send it backwards and they're gonna build a spike maybe a twisting one like old wika twister did or maybe just straight up maybe Beyond vertical but it's gonna go I think 460 feet why 460 feet that would exceed the height record of King dakai which
is 456 feet you do that you would have the hype record and no one's beating the height record in almost 20 years you do that and mind you you gotta remember Cedar Point is in a weird spot where we're coming out of the pandemic and um Roots were coming out of the pandemic and tourism is kind of down right now it's it's going to be down to economy's all over the place if they just did this you guys remember even if they don't go for the height record in the scenario I still
think they're doing a swing launch because there's no way you're just going to do a magnet launch that'd be so boring because I hope not but if they do a backward Spike um it's gonna be like one of the craziest rides in the world going forward backward again like that that heightened speed is gonna be one of the craziest rides in the world but um I think that's what they're gonna do because it just doesn't make any sense otherwise and I think maybe we might see
something after the top half I think we're gonna see either a 300 some foot Spike or wait 400 feet like world record raking 400 feet or if they're really bold they'll go for 500 feet and I don't see that happening too much but I also things are gonna go for the world the world height record just overall what other opportunity you have no we gotta be put talk to director cost 25 million dollars in 2003. well it cost 25 million dollars because I had to build this complicated structure to go up
that high and a hydraulic accelerator unit and all the little the little fins and all that that's not happening anymore we don't need that we're using magnets so we don't and the thing is anyway what happens if there's a power failure and well then the train will just keep valleying back and forth between the spike and the top hat there's no way it's going to shoot over and if it shoots over the magnets on the end will stop it yeah yeah I think that's what they're doing
they're gonna go for the height record what's my sources it came to me in a dream so no it's really just the the spike just makes sense from other rumors I've heard magnet launch is confirmed basically because what I launching gonna do and do you not realize how much of a massive tourism boost would be if they said oh we have the world's tallest coaster you should come to our park that would draw people to the park I know there are people that I've talked to at work at school that said they would they've never been to Cedar Point but they're like I would
probably go just to ride if they had the world's tallest roller coaster so I think that's what they're gonna do I really think they will but yeah that's kind of my opinion on it uh see ya
